About The Role
Position will conduct social media research, field investigation and profiling of online gambling websites, buying and selling of GoPay and GoPay Merchant accounts for misuse of online gambling as mandated by the Bank Indonesian regulatory body. The position will also assist the Head of the GoTo Financial Field Analytics and Investigation to conduct field surveillance and validation within the Jabodetabek and Banten area.
Impact expected for the next would be faster detection of GoPay customer accounts and merchants as the one of top e-wallets and merchants being misused for online gambling purposes.
Faster identification and profiling of major sellers of GoPay customer and merchant accounts in social media.
Increased safety for the Field Analytics team members during a surveillance and field validation operation.
What Will You Do
- Conducting cyber patrol on social media to find online gambling websites and subsequently finding the GoPay customer and merchant accounts which are being misused for online gambling put it in the report for takedown.
- Conducting field research by interviewing the general public (including drivers) on online gambling websites and subsequently finding the GoPay customer and merchant accounts which are being misused for online gambling and put it in the report for takedown.
- Conducting social media research for fraudulent buying and selling of GoPay customer and merchant accounts.
- Assisted the Head of GoTo Financial Field Analytics and GoTo Financial Field Analyst in creating surveillance and arrest plans
- Conducting field visits to validate merchants and customer accounts locations related to online gambling and other fraudulent activities as required by the GoTo Financial Field Analytics.
What Will You Need
- Experience in conducting social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Telegram) research related to fraudulent activities including but not limited to online gambling and cashback/voucher abuse.
- Experience in drafting a field visit plan and conducting field visits to gather data and subsequently write a detailed report.
- Good communication skills to interview and elicitate information from the general public.
- Ability to drive a motorbike and car (SIM A and C) is required and good knowledge of street within Jabodetabek and Banten areas.
About the Team
The GoTo Financial Field Analytics is a small but effective team whose duty is to provide assessed information regarding fraudulent activities which may damage GoTo Financial both financially and/or reputationally, and oftentimes follow up the findings by conducting site visits, and reporting the criminal activities which threaten GoTo Financial to the police.
The GoTo Financial Field Analytics is also mandated to represent GoTo Financial entities in giving testimony at the police and the court.
The team is working at a high pace, each with different skill sets, which are the GoTo Financial data specialist and GoTo Financial field research & police/law enforcement liaison.
The team works closely with the GoTo Financial Risk, GoTo Financial Data Risk, GoTo Financial Compliance, AML, ODS SPI, Midtrans, GoPay Merchant and externally with retained legal counsel and law enforcement (Police & Attorney General Office).
